GETTING STARTED
How do I begin?
Book a free consultation. We'll talk through your book and your goals, and then invite you to send your manuscript for review. Every book is different, so we quote only after we've seen your manuscript. Once you approve your quote and pay your deposit, we begin.
What kinds of books do you publish?
We publish family-friendly books in a wide range of genres, including memoirs, faith, inspiration, history, children's books, business, and fiction. We don't publish erotica, horror, occult content, or material that is defamatory. We reserve the right to decline any project.
Can we meet in person?
Your free consultation takes place by phone, and the entire publishing process is handled digitally. If you'd prefer to meet in person, there's a consultation fee of $100 per hour.
Do you work with authors outside The Bahamas?
Yes. Because the process is digital, we work with authors wherever they live.
YOUR MANUSCRIPT
Does my book need to be edited?
Yes. We believe in publishing books you'll be proud of and your readers will enjoy, and that starts with a professionally edited manuscript, not one that's only been through spell-check.
Is editing included in your packages?
Editing is a separate service. We offer professional editing, and we'll assess your manuscript and give you a quote.
How long does editing take?
It depends on your manuscript. Some need only light polishing; others need more work on grammar, punctuation, sentence structure or a deeper rewrite. We'll give you a timeline after we assess it.
How should I prepare my manuscript?
Keep it simple. Send a plain Word document without special fonts, extra spacing, highlights, or notes. A clean file lets our designer work quickly; a heavily formatted one may be returned for cleanup, which delays your project.
Can I submit a PDF?
Possibly. We'll review it to see whether it meets publishing requirements. If it doesn't, it will need to be converted and reformatted.
Should my cover be designed before my book is formatted?
The short answer is no. We need to ensure your text is in the printable areas and the spine width depends on your final page count, so the cover is completed after the interior is formatted.
Can you republish an out-of-print book?
Yes, provided you hold the rights to it.
THE PUBLISHING PROCESS
How long does it take?
Formatting usually takes about 10 days, depending on your book's length. Most books are live on Amazon within 6 weeks of approving your final manuscript, and often sooner when approvals move quickly. Once uploaded, eBooks usually go live within 72 hours.
Can I review my book before it's published?
Yes. We'll prepare your formatted book to review, and you can order a printed proof from your Amazon account before your book goes live.
Can I make changes after my book is published?
Yes. Because your book is printed digitally, the interior and cover can be updated. A fee applies for changes after publication.
DISTRIBUTION
Where will my book be sold?
Your paperback, hardcover, and eBook are sold on Amazon. You can also choose D2D, which distributes your paperback and eBook to international retailers and libraries, including Apple Books, Kobo, and Barnes & Noble. We'll help you decide what's right for your book during your consultation.
Is my book automatically listed on Amazon?
Your book is listed once you approve it and Amazon accepts it.
Can my book be sold in local bookstores?
Yes. Many of our authors order copies at print cost and arrange with local bookstores to carry them.
Do I need to buy an ISBN?
No, unless you want to. Amazon and D2D each provide a free ISBN, which lists the book as independently published on that platform. If you'd like your own imprint name to appear as the publisher, you'll need to buy your own ISBN.
RIGHTS, ROYALTIES & PAYMENTS
Do I keep the rights to my book?
Yes, always. Your book remains your work, in your name and ownership. We take no share of your royalties, and there are no annual fees.
Who owns the publishing accounts?
You do. Your book is published through accounts in your name, and you have full access once your book is live.
How do I get paid when my book sells?
Amazon pays your royalties directly to you, monthly, about 60 days after the end of the month in which the sales happen. Depending on where your bank is located, payment is made by direct deposit, wire transfer, or check. Wire and check payments require a minimum balance before Amazon sends them. We'll help you complete Amazon's tax and payment setup during your project.
How much do copies of my book cost, and who do I pay?
The print cost of your book is based on its page count. You order copies directly from Amazon at that cost, plus inland shipping and any import fees. You set your own retail price, and you can change it at any time.
How many books do I have to buy?
None. You never have to buy copies to be published. When you do order, you can buy from 1 to 999 copies at a time.
PAYMENT FOR OUR SERVICES
What are your payment terms?
A 50% deposit is required to begin your project. The balance is due once you approve your final proof.
How can I pay?
Direct deposit, wire transfer, MoneyGram, or Western Union.

Can you help me market my book?
Yes. We offer book marketing tools, including book trailers, audio samples, Social Media Kits, press releases, and more.
