Depending on the length of your book, it can be formatted within 10 days.

How long does it take to be a published Kindle author?

Once the formatting is complete you can publish an ebook on Kindle to make your work available for sale on Amazon.com within 24 hours of setting up.

How long does self-publishing a print book take?

The time depends on the length of your book etc. It is safe to say that your print book can take about 30 days or less to be published and ready to order.

Do I have to have my book edited? 

We understand the excitement and urgency authors feel in having their books published but we believe in producing high-quality books that you can be proud of as well as books that your readers appreciate; that means the content and the cover should reflect excellence. It is therefore highly recommended that you have your book properly edited and not just ran through spell-check. We reserve the right to decline our publishing services for books that require more attention in this area.

Is editing included in your Publishing Package?

Editing is not included, however, if it falls within the genre of our in-house editor, we would be delighted to provide you with a quote.

Do I need to purchase an ISBN number for my book?

You can if you wish. Amazon provides a free number if you wish to publish on their platform

The time frame would have to be determined by the editor after the manuscript has been assessed. Some manuscripts require very little editing, while others require more to add that bit of sparkle to your work. It could be simple punctuation or grammatical errors that need to be addressed or sentence structure.

Can you republish an out of print book?

Yes, an out of print book can be republished providing you have the rights to the book.

Can I submit a PDF of my book for publishing?

Yes and no, we will have to review it to ensure that it meets the publishing guidelines. If it doesn't meet the requirements, it will have to be converted and then reformatted.

Can I preview my book?

Absolutely. We will email you a copy of your formatted manuscript for your review prior to publishing/printing.

Can I get a proof copy of my book before I place an order?

Yes, you are able to order a proof copy of your book before it goes live.

Do I keep the rights to my book?

Yes, the book manuscript will remain your work and will always remain in your name and ownership.

How do I get paid for my books when they are sold on Amazon.com?

We have all payments directed to the author or the name the author provides for payment. Amazon then either makes a direct deposit to your account if you are eligible or they will mail the check to the postal address you provide.

How many books do I have to purchase?

You don’t have to purchase any books to get published. You can purchase from 1 to 999 per order as you require.

Is my book automatically listed on Amazon.com?

Your book is listed on Amazon.com upon your approval and their acceptance.

Should I have my book cover designed before it is formatted?

That would not be the way to go. Your cover size is determined by the number of pages in the finished book.

How is the cost of my book determined?

The base cost of your book is determined by the number of pages it has. The retail price is determined by you and is registered by Amazon. You can change your prices at any time.

Who do I pay for copies of my book?

When ordering your books you will pay Amazon directly at your wholesale cost.

What percentage of the royalties do you retain?

We do not retain any of your royalties.

What is your annual maintenance fee for my book?

We do not have an annual maintenance fee.

Can you assist me with marketing my book?

We offer several marketing tools for you to promote your book.

How can I begin the publishing process?

Let us know your interest and we will email a quote and requirements. Once we have received your deposit and manuscript, we will begin your project.

What are your payment requirements?

A 50% deposit is required for work to commence. The balance is required once final proof is accepted.

How can I pay for your publishing services?

You may pay via direct deposit, wire transfer, Moneygram, or Western Union.

Can I add or remove content from my book after it has been published?

Yes, you may. As the books are digitally created you are able to make adjustments to the interior or exterior content of your book. There are fees involved to do so.

Should I layout my manuscript as I would like it to look? 

Your manuscript should be bare bones- a plain canvas of sorts for the book designer to work with. Adding fancy text, spaces, highlights, and notes to your manuscript will cause a delay in the process and will probably be returned to the sender for those items to be removed. Can we have a face-to-face meeting to discuss my book project?

Yes, we can. However, as it is not necessary to proceed as the publishing process is digital. If you still wish to meet, there is a consultation fee of $100.00 per hour which will be deducted from the publishing cost.
